Typical swarm locations
Collectors in Countesthorpe regularly attend swarms in the mature garden trees and ornamental shrubs of the residential streets near the church and the old village centre, along the Sence riverside hawthorn and willow scrub south of the village, in the allotment and garden margins on the western village edge, and in the chimney stacks and garden eaves of the older brick cottages and Victorian terraces of the historic core.
